SP195CFP: C195CFP Brad Southard Positron
This is the knife we've all been waiting for. Modeled after Southard's custom Trot, one of his earliest flipper designs, this is Spyderco's second collaboration with Brad after the wildly successful Southard Flipper. It was Spyderco's first knife to feature a flipper design and it really proved that Spyderco Knives produced in Taiwan are just as nice as those made in the USA.

The Positron takes the proven performance and dramatic styling of his best-selling flipper folder designs and distills them into a compact, pocket-friendly folder optimized for everyday carry. Although it proudly bears Spyderco's Trademark Round Hole, its full-flat-ground CPM-S30V blade offers flipper-only one-handed operation. Its solid carbon fiber handle scales are contoured for comfort and house the nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that are the heart of its sturdy liner lock mechanism. Ball bearing washers guarantee an ultra-smooth opening action, while a reversible deep-pocket wire clip provides ambidextrous tip-up carry.

Love in the pocket
This is the defenition of EDC for me. Living where i live you better not show yor knife in public this is the perfect EDC. Small, but not to small, stays sharp, is sharp as a razor, easy to open and close, looks good and feels good in the pocket. It might seem small at first feel but you'll get used to it. Today I'd choose the orange but that was'nt an option when I got mine.

Great knife
Perfect EDC knife. Light weight and not too large, but 3" blade is plenty useful. Excellent steel that you can shave with and still hold an edge with everyday use. Personally, I like the clip design. It's easy on and off you pocket and won't destroy more dressy pants.

Excellent, But.
The weight is phenomenal. 2.6 ounces. Just wow. Blade shape is superb for slicing and common tasks. The handle would feels like it molds right into the right sized hand...just not mine. I have huge hands. For instance, on an endura, a hinderer design, or the southard flipper, I use every bit of the handle. For its weight I have no problems with the thickness or grind of the blade, I like the clip too, it is titanium like the the one found on the slyz bowie...not from Lowe's. Very comfortable and weight contious. I gave it to my wife and it's her purse EDC. She loves it. My only grip is the liner lock is hard to aces with my big caulous-ey thumb. If I had small hand hands or was an delica enthusiast this would be a HOME RUN for me.
