Description
SP127PGY: C127PGY Urban Lightweight, Gray
Spyderco

The perfect cutting companion for city dwellers, the Urban Lightweight is the latest evolution of the original Urban. As a member of the SLIPIT family, it provides the advantages of clip carry and one-hand opening, but with a socially friendly non-locking mechanism. Its leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground from K390 premium tool steel for outstanding edge geometry and features an index-finger choil to help prevent unintentional closure during use. K390 is a powdered metallurgy, cold work tool steel with 9% vanadium and added tungsten and cobalt for excellent wear resistance and high compressive strength that is a workhorse in even the most severe applications. True to its name, the Urban Lightweight features a textured, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon handle that keeps it feather light while still providing a full, secure grip. A reversible, deep-pocket wire clip completes the package, offering convenient tip-up carry on both sides of the body. The knife does not lock for legality concerns yet still has a strong half stop mechanism to safely close the blade.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: Lock Type, None
Solid edc
The knive is a good all around edc knive with a great grip. Its absoloutly tiny in your pocket, and i barely notice it when carrying. Some nitpicks would be that there should be a backlock version in my opinion, and the website said it would arrive within 1-3 weeks (i live in Austria), but it only came a little afer 4 weeks. So if you are looking for a knive that is light and small, but still usefull and has a good grip, this is for you. If you are looking for a knive to chop wood with or for self defense, this is not what you want. Also keep in mind that espetially if you live in Europe or some other non US place, you might have to wait a bit.

My new favourite.
I have nearly 100 spyderco and this one's my new favourite. Great steel, light weight, quickest open and close of any. Thumb hole needed chamfering and I'd like a lanyard hole but otherwise love it.

Best pocket knife ever
This is an excellent pocket knife. I had another high end, and more costly knife on order, but when I got this one, I cancelled the other order. The knife is thin and rides well in the pocket. The steel, while not stainless, does not easily. After all this time, the only sign it is not stainless is a little pale golden color, hardly noticeable, in one spot. The knife is extremely sharp, and after it was broken in, opens and closes with a nice action and snap. I cannot seem to put this knife down. It has kicked my Dragonfly and Delica knives out of my pocket.
