Description
BO01BO605: Boker Plus Subcom Titan VG10
Boker Plus

The Subcom Folder from Chad Los Banos was one of the keystones of the Boker Plus lineup, and quickly became one of the most popular designs from Boker. As a show of appreciation to Chad and all the loyal fans of this exceptional knife concept, we are offering a very special version, and are proud to present the Subcom Folder as a Titanium Framelock. To maintain the original dimensions, the handle scales are CNC milled with maximum precision. The original handle pattern is also milled in the scale to show the bridging, just like the original. The two-tone titanium scales feature bead blasted and fine satin finished parts, creating, in combination with the titanium clip, a very distinctive appearance. Blade steel is high performance VG10 stainless. A real Boker Plus classic in a modern, high tech package.

Great knife
Great little knife, fits in the hand well and holds a nice blade. Only gripe Is the thumb nub for flicking it open gets caught when trying to clip back into my pocket.

Lovely little knife
This is the locking model in the Subcom family. With a very nice blade design, steel quality, lightweight feature and easy opening, this little Boker EDC knife is gradually becoming a collectible classic.

Best Knife For the Money
Both Handle Scales and the Clip are Titanium, combined with the VG-10 steel this blade is a steal at this price. Comes incredibly sharp and polished. Great design, great looking knife, really usable. Now for the negatives. You do get what you pay for. On a $60 knife, fit and finish leave a little to be desired. The edges of the titanium are very rough, with clear tooling marks and dings everywhere that isn't polished. There is actually heat discoloration on the inside of scales. The blade isn't centered, but it's not too bad. Clip is quite strong. Gimping is very, very aggressive, and combine with the rather sticky lock (meaning disengaging the lock is difficult) this knife is very hard on your thumb. Also, thumbstud is a bit difficult to use without practice, it's easy to catch yourself on the corner of the handle. Still, absolutely the best overall package of materials for the price. 4 out of 5, just a little more factory finishing would make this a 5
